Estimate Works™ for Word is integrated with MS Outlook 2000 or later (not Outlook Express!). Client information can be shared between the Estimate Works and Outlook. Client appointments and job schedules can also be exported to Outlook to take advantage of the scheduling and reminder features already built in.
Clients:
Clients can be imported into Estimate Works from Outlook. To import
a client or agent from your Outlook contact list, click the Import from Outlook
button on the Client form. Client details can also be exported to
Outlook. Click the Export to Outlook button on the Client
form to add this new contact to Outlook to to update the details of an
existing client See Adding or Modifying Client

Client
Appointments:
Client appointments can be created selecting the Outlook Appt button
on the Client Information tab of the estimator forms. The appointment will include client details, job
details and the text in the Appt Note field.

Appointments (Enterprise Version):
Client appointments created from selecting the Outlook Appt button
on the Client Information tab of the estimator forms can be sent to
employees with exchange server shared appointment folders on the network. To use exchange server
accounts, enter the employee exchange shared folder name on the Employee form
(Settings - Misc Defaults - Employees on the toolbar) then
select to send to the exchange shared appointment folder when prompted when
you create the new appointment.
Job Start/End
Dates:
Job dates can be exported to Outlook from the Payments & Dates tab of the estimator forms.
To view your Outlook Calendar prior to
confirming a contract start date, click the 'View Outlook Calendar' button. Once
a contract start date is confirmed and selected, the appointment can be added to Outlook by
clicking the the 'Add Dates to Outlook'
button. The program will automatically complete
fields in Outlook such as the client and job site address and will open the
Outlook appointment form for you to confirm the information.
